Is there a Tinder for music?
Yes. Sonik is a free iPhone app that works like Tinder for songs. Each card plays a 30-second preview: swipe right on the songs you like and left on the rest, and Sonik learns what type of music you like, then finds you more of it.
How it works
- Open the app and a song starts playing, a 30-second preview.
- Swipe right if you like it and left if you don't. The songs you like are saved.
- The more you swipe, the better Sonik gets at your taste.
- Pick a genre or search for an artist whenever you want to steer it.
Why Sonik is different
Most music apps recommend songs from charts, genre tags or what other people played. Sonik listens to the songs themselves. An audio AI turns each preview into a fingerprint of its sound, so Sonik can find songs that sound like the ones you keep, including artists you've never heard of.
You don't need a Spotify account. Sonik is free with 100 songs a day and one playlist a week, and your playlists save to Apple Music. It's made for iPhone, including iPhone Duo.

| Discz | Spotify. You sign in with Spotify and your finds go to a Spotify playlist. | Free, no daily limit. |
| Swipefy | Spotify. Songs you swipe right on go to your playlist. | Free, no limit on swipes. |

Which one to use
If your music lives in Spotify, Discz and Swipefy save straight into it, and neither has a daily limit. If you want songs found by how they sound rather than by what other people played, or you don't use Spotify, try Sonik.
Questions
Is Sonik free?
Yes. Sonik is free with 100 songs a day and one playlist a week, and your first day has no limit. Sonik Pro, an optional subscription, gives you unlimited songs and playlists.
Do I need Spotify to use Sonik?
No. You sign up with Apple, Google or an email address, the previews play inside Sonik, and your playlists save to Apple Music.
Is Sonik on Android?
Not yet. Sonik is on iPhone. On any other phone or a computer you can swipe through songs in a browser at sonik.club/listen.
How does Sonik know what I like?
An audio AI listens to a 30-second preview of each song and turns it into a fingerprint of its sound. Songs you swipe right on move your recommendations towards songs with similar fingerprints, and the ones you skip move them away.
