Apps like Discz
Discz is a free iPhone app for swiping through song previews, made as a companion for Spotify. If you want the same idea without Spotify, Sonik is a free iPhone app where you swipe through 30-second previews and it learns what type of music you like from how the songs sound.
What Discz is
Discz plays song previews and saves the ones you keep straight to a Spotify playlist. You sign in with Spotify, and its recommendations start from your Spotify listening and saves, or from three artists you pick. You can adjust energy, mood, popularity, tempo and key. It's free, with no daily limit.

Questions
Is there a Discz alternative that doesn't need Spotify?
Yes. Sonik doesn't need Spotify: you sign up with Apple, Google or an email address, and your playlists save to Apple Music. Muse also saves to Apple Music.
Is Sonik free?
Yes. Sonik is free with 100 songs a day and one playlist a week, and your first day has no limit. Sonik Pro, an optional subscription, gives you unlimited songs and playlists.
How does Sonik know what I like?
An audio AI listens to a 30-second preview of each song and turns it into a fingerprint of its sound. Songs you swipe right on move your recommendations towards songs with similar fingerprints, and the ones you skip move them away.
